Theme Parks ở Mỹ sẽ có thêm vài điều mới lạ, hấp dẫn trong năm 2008
1.Rock ’n’ roll trong khu Hard Rock Park mới ở Myrtle Beach, S.C., sẽ có thêm Led Zeppelin - The Ride. Cao 155-foot, roller coaster mới này chạy nhanh đến 65 mph trên chiều dài 3,738-foot, qua 6 vòng cuốn trong điệu nhạc “Whole Lotta Love.” Trong khi đó, Hard Rock theme park venture đầu tiên vẫn chơi nhạc của The Eagles, The Moody Blues & George Clinton.

2. Bạn có thể thấy orangutans, gibbons và chồn bay(flying foxes) trong khu Jungala (rộng 4-acre) trong Busch Gardens Africa ở Tampa Bay, Fla. nhưng điểm chính là xem chú cọp Bengal cùng với 11 chú cọp khác qua mặt kính của chuồng cọp và 1 chiếc cầu treo.

3.Khu Simpsons Ride trong Universal Studios ở Orlando, Fla. có khu Krustyland dọc theo khu Simpsons, Homer, Bartthe với các trò chơi thú vị dành cho trẻ em, kể cả stunt shows & rides.

4.Sau khi shopping trong Mall of America ở Bloomington, Minn., bạn hãy đến khu SpongeBob SquarePants Rock Bottom Plunge, một trong những khu roller coasters mới của Nickelodeon Universe với 24 Nickelodeon-themed rides và sẽ có dịp gặp SpongeBob và những người bạn của nó.

5. Phụ huynh hãy đưa con em đến xem đầu máy và đi xe lửa trong khu phố Thomas Town mới mở trong khu Six Flags Magic Mountain ở Los Angeles, từ trạm Knapford đến đảo Sodor qua Drayton Manor Theme Park y như bên Staffordshire, England, với trực thăng Harold và xe bus Bertie.

6. SeaWorld ở Florida vừa khai trương Aquatica park ở Orlando với trò chơi mà cả gia đình cùng bơi lội với dolphins và rùa biển.

7. Từ tháng 1-2009, bạn có thể lên hát chung với Paula, Randy & Simon như một "sao" trong American Idol,trong khu Disney’s Hollywood Studios tại Walt Disney World ở Orlando, Fla. Mỗi ngày đều sẽ có giải thưởng cho người xuất sắc.

8.Ở Six Flags St. Louis có khu Evel Knievel với roller coaster bằng gỗ cao bằng tòa nhà 8-9 tầng, có những khúc quẹo 90 độ, qua 16 đồi cong như lưng lạc đà và tạo ra sự thích thú với cảm giác mạnh!

9. Dark Knight vừa ra đời với phí tổn $7.5 triệu USD trong cả 2 khu: Six Flags Great Adventure ở Jackson Park, N.J. và Six Flags Great America ở Chicago, với 6 lần xoay 180 độ ở tốc độ 30 mph trong bóng tối để tạo cảm giác y như trong phim “Batman”.

10.Universal Orlando Resort sẽ xây khu Harry Potter Theme Park trong năm 2009. Những độc giả trẻ của J.K. Rowling sẽ tìm thấy ở đây có nhiều cảnh y như trong phim Harry Potter như Hogwarts Castle, Hogsmeade Village & the Forbidden Forest.
