Architecture Design Melbourne Museum

Denton Corker Marshall won an international competition to design a new campus for the Museum of Victoria. Now known as ‘Melbourne Museum’, it is the primary and largest site for Victoria’s most important cultural institution. Located on an extremely sensitive site, adjacent to the World Heritage Listed 1880s Royal Exhibition Building, the response demanded a building that would not overpower its older neighbour, but one that still had a presence in its own right. The brief called for “a campus of elements”, rather than a singular monumental object. All the elements are grouped around the north/south extension of the park and the Royal Exhibition Building. The Forest Gallery, a large lightweight enclosure housing trees, birds, insects and fish, waterfalls and other elements of a Victorian temperate forest, forms the centrepoint of this axis.

The distinctive blade roof at the rear of the museum is an architectural response to the dome on the Royal Exhibition Building a complementary iconic skyline element. The canopy that slopes down towards the centre , another eye-catching element, serves to draw visitors from both streets on either side of the site.

Chao Phraya River Memorial and Museum

Best architecture design of Chao Phraya River Memorial and Museum as a winner in national design competition designed by Fars Studio located in Nakorn-Sawan, Thailand. Nakorn Sawan Municipality and the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage (ASA) launch this landmark competition to commemorate and to highlight the symbol of this River at the particular spot where it begins. This site has an extraordinary context: during the flood season, up to 9 meters differentiate between the low and high tide. The river on the Northern side of the island has a green color while the Southern side is red. After the confluence of both tributaries, the green and red colors still keep tracking along the Chao Phraya River to create a resonance stripe. This significant area not only has a colorful phenomenon but is also intertwined with the history of the Kingdom. Unfortunately, this area has been abandoned for quite a long time, as a result of the very different levels of the tide. This landmark is designed to be situated on the tip of the island where the confluence takes place.

Landscape Architecture Building

Narrow horizontal slot windows are the same width and rhythm of the Administration Building but establish a greater sense of solidity to the form. The warm-grey colour tone represents darkest sandstone tones found on the Memorial facing, similar to Anzac Hall, achieving visual connection through colour and materiality, whilst tonally blending into the native landscape of earth colours and grey green vegetation.

Luxury Architecture Design Hotel

The Envision Green Hotel designed by Richard Moreta Architecture. What features inside luxury architecture design hotel : natural air come into interior of building hotel without mechanical intervention. Photovoltaic exterior sheathing provides the building’s energy, while indoor gardens at various levels of the structure act as upward extensions of the earth, creating mini-microclimates that filter the air and act as added insulation. Recycled pools of water around the structure serve as catch basins, water reservoirs, fire barriers, and indispensable decorative aquatic features. Power from the wind turbine heats the boiler and creates steam for the chiller water plant beneath the structure to cool and heat the hotel.
